The Trinidad Perfume, originating from the Caribbean, is a pepper renowned for its minimal to no heat and the delightful aroma it imparts when used in cooking—hence the fitting “perfume” in its name.

The Trinidad Perfume pepper plants reach a height of up to 2 feet and yield small fruits, measuring 1 to 1-1/2 inches, that transition from green to a light-yellow hue upon maturation. Resembling miniature lanterns, these pods bear a resemblance to Habanero peppers, with some even developing tiny scorpion tails.
