Aji Umba, also called Ajumba comes from Suriname in South America and is in the Capsicum Chinense family. Quite a strong growing plant but quite stocky which can put out huge number of large red pods.
It is a habanero type variety so has a nice flavour with a fruit aroma and is quite hot and comes in at around 250,000 – 500,000 SHU.
