Chocolate Ghost Jami Chilli Seeds – 10 Fresh Seeds
The Chocolate Ghost Jami chilli is a unique hybrid variety, combining the intense heat of ghost peppers with a rich, earthy flavour. Its deep brown pods develop a wrinkled texture as they ripen, producing an exceptionally fiery heat level, often exceeding 800,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU). I sowed the seeds in February using a heat mat to help germination. All the seeds germinated after about a week. I kept the seedlings under grow lights indoors and when they outgrew the little pots I transplanted them into 1 litre pots. When the weather got better I kept them in the pollytunel during daytime and carried them back into the house at night until night time temperatures wer not too cold. I then transplanted them into 5 litre pots. I gave most plants to friends keeping 3 for myself. I now have 2 plants in the pollytunel they are in 30 litre containers and are looking lovely with many flowers and pods. I have kept one in the 5 litre pot and you can see the difference in the size as the 5 litre pot restricts the growth. I have harvested a few peppers already and oh my they are spicy. This one is worth trying. Can’t wait till end of season to see how big the plant will get in the pollytunel and how many I will be able to harvest.
