MA Warthog Yellow Superhot Chilli Seeds – 10 Seeds
🐗 The Golden Beast Has Arrived!
If you thought the original red MA Warthog was intimidating, wait until you meet its spectacular yellow counterpart!
MA Warthog Yellow is an exciting colour selection from the notoriously fierce MA Warthog breeding line.
Its bright golden-yellow fruits combine a heavily wrinkled surface, chunky irregular shape and occasional dramatic pointed tails.
The result is a truly extraordinary superhot chilli that looks every bit as dangerous as its fiery ancestry suggests.
💛 A Stunning Yellow Variation
The original MA Warthog is best known for its distinctive red fruits, but the breeding line has produced several alternative colour forms.
Yellow and peach selections have emerged as growers continue working with these fascinating genetics.
Our MA Warthog Yellow plants have produced beautiful golden-yellow pods with the characteristic irregular, heavily textured appearance of the Warthog family.
Some fruits develop broad, chunky shoulders, while others have more elongated shapes and pronounced pointed tails.
The photographs show actual peppers harvested from our own plants at Red Dragon Seeds.
🔥 Extreme Superhot Genetics
MA Warthog was originally developed by American chilli breeder Matthew Arthur from a cross involving:
- MA Wartryx
- 7 Pot Primo
Both parents are associated with exceptionally hot, highly distinctive chilli peppers.
The resulting Warthog line has become popular with superhot enthusiasts for its formidable heat and unusual fruit characteristics.
The yellow selection retains its superhot ancestry.
An exact Scoville rating has not been established for our particular yellow line, so we do not assign a specific SHU figure.
These peppers should be treated as extremely hot and handled with appropriate care.
🧬 Unstable Genetics – Expect the Unexpected!
Important information for growers:
MA Warthog Yellow is a developing colour selection and is not considered fully stabilised.
The original MA Warthog breeding line has displayed considerable variation, including the emergence of yellow, peach and other colour forms.
Although seeds have been collected from our yellow-fruited plants, the resulting offspring may not all reproduce the exact appearance of the parent.
Possible differences include:
- Mature fruit colour
- Fruit shape and size
- Surface wrinkling
- Tail development
- Plant growth characteristics
- Heat intensity
Some plants may produce fruits that differ significantly from those shown in our photographs.
For experienced chilli growers who enjoy exploring unusual superhot genetics, this variation is part of the attraction.
