Goronong x PDN Yellow Chilli Seeds – 10 Fresh Seeds

Goronong x PDN Yellow is an unusual and still developing cross between Goronong and Pimenta de Neyde (PDN). It combines the distinctive elongated pod shape of Goronong with the dark anthocyanin pigmentation associated with Pimenta de Neyde.

The plants can display attractive purple to near-black pigmentation on the stems and foliage, while the pods develop into elongated, slightly irregular shapes. Fruits ripen to a striking yellow/orange, often showing contrasting purple, bluish or darker pigmentation, particularly where exposed to strong sunlight.

Originally released at F2, our current seeds are now F3 generation. As this is still an early-generation cross, it is not yet fully stabilised, so variation should be expected between plants. Pod shape, colour, foliage pigmentation and heat levels may all differ, making this an especially interesting variety for growers who enjoy unusual phenotypes and selecting plants for future generations.

The original F2 was reported at around 450,000 SHU, placing it firmly in the very hot category, although heat can vary considerably at this stage of the cross.
