Despite the name, it’s not a watermelon – but its large size and rosy blush certainly remind you of one! This heirloom variety produces smooth, round to slightly ribbed fruits that often top 500g each. The flesh is meaty, juicy, and bursting with rich, old-fashioned tomato flavour, with just the right balance of sweetness and acidity. Ideal for slicing thick onto burgers, sandwiches, or serving with just a sprinkle of salt. Indeterminate and mid-to-late season, plants grow tall and need staking or cages to support the heavy yield. Fruits mature around 80–90 days from transplant.
