Growing On: Keep seedlings in good light. Harden off young plants before transplanting outdoors.
Planting Out: Transplant into fertile, firm soil in a sunny position, allowing approximately 45–60 cm between plants.
Feeding: Incorporate well-rotted organic matter before planting and provide balanced nutrition during growth.
Watering: Keep plants watered during dry spells, especially while establishing.
Harvesting: Harvest firm sprouts progressively from the bottom of the stalk upwards, generally from autumn through winter, depending on variety and growing conditions.
