BBG Pumpkin, with BBG referring to Bubblegum, is an eye-catching superhot chilli producing unusual wrinkled pods with a distinctive squat, pumpkin-like appearance. As with other peppers from the Bubblegum family, one of its most interesting characteristics is the tendency for the mature pod colour to extend or ‘bleed’ into the calyx and sometimes the adjoining stem tissue.

The plants produce highly ornamental pods with considerable character, but don’t let their attractive appearance fool you – this is a seriously hot chilli. BBG Pumpkin is ideal for experienced superhot growers and can be used in extreme sauces, powders and other chilli products where only a very small amount is required.
