Meringue Ghost Scorpion Chilli Seeds – 10 Fresh Seeds
F6 | C. chinense
Meringue Ghost Scorpion is a fascinating pale superhot originating from Jay’s Peach Ghost Scorpion genetics, with this particular white-podded selection discovered and developed by Townsend Chilli & Spice.
The original seeds were reportedly harvested from Jay Weaver’s farm, with one plant unexpectedly producing white pods. Subsequent generations have been selected towards the distinctive bumpy phenotype, although some impressive extra-large pods and creamy-yellow variations have continued to appear.
The result is an unusual Ghost Scorpion type producing striking pale pods that can range from creamy white through to light yellow, often with the rough, contorted surface associated with its Ghost Scorpion heritage.
This selection should not be confused with White Knight, a separate white phenotype found by Tom Kleinfelter from Jay’s Peach Ghost Scorpion material. Both appear to trace back to material originating from the Weaver farm, but Meringue Ghost Scorpion represents Townsend’s own selection.
As this release is currently at F6, the genetics are still developing and some variation in pod colour, size, shape and phenotype should be expected. This makes it an especially interesting variety for collectors and growers who enjoy unusual superhot genetics.
