Sow seeds indoors into trays, modules or small pots filled with good-quality moist seed compost. Cover lightly with approximately 5 mm of compost and keep warm at around 18–25°C until germination.

Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant individually into small pots and grow on somewhere bright and warm. Pot on as necessary as the plants develop.

After all risk of frost has passed, plant into a greenhouse, polytunnel, large container or warm sheltered position outdoors. Oaxacan Pink is a vigorous indeterminate tomato, so provide sturdy support using canes, strings or a tomato cage.

Water regularly, keeping moisture levels as consistent as possible. Once the first fruits have set, begin feeding regularly with a suitable tomato fertiliser.

Oaxacan Pink produces impressive large, deeply ribbed pink fruits with a meaty, juicy texture and rich, sweet tomato flavour. Harvest when the fruits have developed their characteristic deep pink colour and yield slightly when gently pressed.
