Variegated Pequin Chilli Seeds – 10 Fresh Seeds
Variegated Pequin is a striking ornamental chilli rooted in ancient history. Pequin (also known as piquín) is one of the oldest chilli types, native to Mexico and the southern United States, and considered a close descendant of wild Capsicum annuum traditionally harvested by Indigenous peoples. This variegated form adds dramatic visual appeal, with beautifully marbled foliage in cream, pale green, and deep green. Small upright pods begin green with striping, then ripen through orange to bright red. Despite their size, the fruits deliver a sharp, punchy heat with a clean, slightly smoky flavour. Compact, productive, and ideal for pots, it blends heritage, heat, and ornamentation perfectly.
